well I finally got time to pop my bike back to GEORGE WARD in Barnsley
just £45  I did not think was bad at all ,and all done in under an hr.

£55.00 at Appleyards in Leeds. That includes a tenner for the loan bike insurance and the three quids worth of petrol I put in it.

Did my own 4000 mile service the other day!
Cost me a grand total of £25 and an hours worth of my time.

Will be doing the 8000 mile one too.  :)

I think ill be doing my own once the warranty period has lasped
I'm sure I can get any advise from this site.
next job is to replace the front sprocket with a 14 tooth one
I got one off ebay for £11.50 delivered.
has any one got any tips on doing the job and what to expect once it has been done?
