Good health to enjoy. I keep looking at the tracer as a replacement for my vstrom as well, but I never get round to it.  I do like the older model better than the new tracer 9.

Hi after a break from biking (due to accident on my Triumph back in September) I’m back to biking with my black V Strom 650 AL2  :)
It’s 62reg with 77000 miles on clock  :) Bike is in unbelievable condition
with full dealer service history(two books) one stamp from Suzuki service in Texas US!Some nice upgrades too!
Maybe somebody from this forum?

This is my beast for the next few days, Tiger 900 GT. Delivered last week, I've got a couple of shifts to do the early part of the week, then off to Chester on Wednesday for its first service. Blood Bikes Wales has been very busy the last couple of years as you can imagine supporting the NHS. We are a charity that replies purely on donations. If you don't already support a charity when you shop online maybe you would be kind enough to support us through easyfundraising and use the link to support Blood Bikes Wales. It doesn't cost you anything its the website that give us the donation. As with lots of charities the last couple of years have been very difficult as we have been unable to do our usual face to face fund raising. We deliver breast milk for premature babies, blood samples from Hospital to Hospital and any specialist equipment free of charge. Thanks. Never asked before but we get a donation just for you shopping online.

Looks like Thunderroad got told to sod off then if you're now on Trumpets.

The old deauvilles used to come in in some states for service, there was one blue NC750x that got mullered at 2 weeks old- I had to list all the replacement bits with the charity's Finance bloke... he was quite shocked at how much damage there was to a 2 week old bike... I had to tell him it doesn't matter about age of the bike, the road will still does the same damage.

A worthwile cause nevertheless.
Pitty they require ROSPA/IAM qualifacations else I'd volunteer.

Hello Mr Diver, Blood Bikes Wales only require ERS which can be done free of charge in Wales. England requires IAM or ROSPA. Yes the Bikes certainly work hard. Thankyou for your kind words regarding the worthwhile cause.

My wife is a nurse and many of our friends are medical professionals.
So I'm well versed on the strain the NHS has been under in the last few years (read decades) not just with a pandemic, but with underfunding, cuts to services and fewer people wishing to work in healthcare all taking a toll.

It's great to see individuals taking it upon themselves to donate their time and energy to something like blood bikes and other volunteer services but also sad that these volunteer, charity funded organisation need to exist.

Wee ride with some mates still to pass their full test. Took a while after this to get all the bugs off the screen.

First showing of my new purchase after a wash today. Wanted something I could ride all year round.

Very happy with it (long time SV rider so know this engine well) This came with a list of extras as long as your arm.

Looking good for 13 years old though  :)

Nice one :thumb:
But,.... calm down and (if you haven't already done so)  head over to introductions and tell us about yourself

Do you miss the Caponord?

It looks like you have a damp summer.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I've still got the Caponord, not sure whether to sell it or keep it and restore it. But I do miss the power and the physical 'presence' of the bike on the road...
