Reversing Protection Needed
« on: October 07, 2010, 19:17:48 »
Right, I'm after a rack (or something) that'll provide a bit of side/drop protection but that crucially hangs over the back of the bike.  Reason for this is that I have to reverse out of my drive (front path really) and some twunt always parks in front of it.  :GRR:   I can often rest the bike on their side glass while I turn - but if it's their bodywork... less said the  better.  :shy:

As I'm not one to cause damage, I'd like to get a rack or similar that hangs over the rear so that I can pad the frame reducing the likelihood of damage to my thankless neighbours...

Have seen those Givi wingrack things and they might do the trick.. any thoughts/alternatives?

Why not back the bike in rather than out?

Why not knock on your neighbour's doors and call them a c**t? :GRR:  :lala:

Neighbours have been fine (when asked) or learned the hard way.... but there are too many of them (long road) to have much impact (no pun)..
