Engine guards
« on: June 15, 2010, 23:26:32 »
When I pick up my 2010 650 V-strom.. I will be looking at engine bars and the engine guards that sit underneath.
Out of all the eine bars.. Thegivi ones would be my choice.. Has anyone got the givi bars and if so.. What engine guards will fit to them ? Any pics please

Thanks in advance

I have the givi bars, cos I reckoned they had the highest protection.

I have a bash plate from a bloke in the states, but I know the swmotech one fits, but if you need it in anger, don't get one that has holes in the bottom, that's just daft.

They nearly all fit using just a clamp to the bars, so almost any could be made to fit easy enough, without special knowledge or bits.

Photos of mine, all over the gallery here I reckon.
