what's in a number?

Pulled up to get some supplies at our local supermarket, glanced down and the odo was showing 10k. Hadn't even noticed it was soo close. It's not very important or anything but thought I would share.
Anyone else a bit childish about hitting the digits like this or is it just me?

Well I like the childish side of things. I rarely see those 10's of thousands pass but I do try to see all the same numbers come up...next one 55,555!

Pulled over to the hard shoulder of the M74 to photo 30K on my Trophy… 

Tried to do a similar thing at 40K on an A road… only for the last digit to tick over as I pulled into the lay-by

Ooh, can see why some of you go for the newer stroms. You get an extra digit on the odo to play with!

I suspect the older bikes add it when you need it.
With my increasing dislike of modern vehicles, I might find out
