Group ride
« on: March 01, 2025, 20:29:53 »
Group ride today to the Ace cafe.

There were 12 of us today ( only knew 4 of them ) but we had a really good day and have now been added to their  whatsapp rider group.
It was a lovely sunny day but still cold out of the sun ( -2 when we I left home)
Various machines including my old v-Strom
I have added some pictures.

Only 140 miles and my first ride of the year and really enjoyed it, even though
There was so much traffic 😱

Great to see your old Vee out, it's nice to know it's giving someone else joy.

Oh and I forgot to add.
The traffic was so bad on the A406 leaving the Ace cafe we turned on to the A1 up to Hatfield then on to the A10 down to the A414 and stopped at the Sportsbike shop in Harlow on the way home. Left home at 10.00 met up at Boreham services on the A12 home at 5.00, a spray of GT 85 and a wipe with a rag to take the salt off.  Then nice hot shower 👍

A ride with some friends is not a wasted day.  :thumb:
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.
