Cheers - looks like it functions well. Not for me as I have a rather large phone and just have that mounted where you used to have yours above the clocks. I'm looking at TomTom software though. Google maps refusal to export "dragged" routes to mobile means I'm exploring other options. How do you find it?

Don't think I'd use Google maps for any complicated route planning. I'll refit the Tom Tom for that. Tom Tom Amigo is free and can use your POIs but you can't use any stored routes from the planner, you'd have to buy the Tom Tom mobile app for that.
