GR Moto carbon look silencer for V-Strom 1000 2014 onwards and looking at another thread on this site, I'm quite sure it will fit the 1050's too.

It is made of aluminium with a carbon dip which looks pretty. It has a great sound with the removable baffle taken out (but a little loud for my taste) and sounds equally good with it in but a lot quieter. I replaced it with a Yoshimura which looks great but to be honest I do prefer the sound of the GR Moto.

The carbon dip has rubbed away around the heat shield bracket but isn't really noticeable and it needs an easy repair to a clip that goes around the heat shield. It could be fitted as is and still do thousands of miles I'm sure but it is an easy fix.

Sorry, as much as I have tried and had lots of advise in the past from other members (thank you) I can't post pictures but can send a WhatsApp of the silencer fitted and running with sound and still pictures and don't even need a reply if you are not interested.

OK, £60 posted to UK mainland. It's far too good to sit in my storage unit. Like I said, it sounds great.  :auto-dirtbike:
