SC Project
« on: February 15, 2025, 14:20:30 »
Hello V-Stromers,

Just wondering if anyone has fitted or knows someone that's fitted the SC Project can on their 1050s?

It's likely something I'm going to consider down the line but it's not my top priority.  I have always liked Akrapovic's offering but I just couldn't justify the price.... this one seems to be the same sort of styling but quite a bit cheaper.  So, as they're not a brand I'm familiar with (or heard of for that matter), I'm wondering if they're any good?

Link is here is anyone wants to check it out... https://shop.sc-project.com/en/brands/Suzuki/v-strom-1050-xt-2020-2023-2024-2025/s21a-86t-adventure-titanium-exhaust

SC project are quality products, maybe not up there with Akrapovic but equal to others such as Yoshi, Remus etc.
  They are OEM suppliers to Honda for the new hornet 1000 and several others.
  I've a Remus on mine, very good. I had a Fuel also which was not that well finished and to loud (baffles in) so avoid the cheaper units I'd say.

@Phild - Nice one.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Thanks all - I think I'm going to go for the Akrapovic can.  Afterall, why spoil the ship for a hap'orth of tar?  :auto-dirtbike:
