Yep, probably unsighted by the truck and didn't check again before going, makes a pleasant change for the driver to be contrite and apologetic though, perhaps your encounter will inform his behaviour in future.

Glad that worked out, In a previous life I would have reacted very badly to that, now I just ride on.
