Long Time No Post!
« on: November 27, 2024, 21:46:16 »
Hello Folks!

Long Time, no posts from me.
I Thought seeing as though I've just got a new bike I had better pop in and update my profile and see if any of the old reprobates are still hanging around.
The Benelli has had an absolute shocker since I bought it (actually since I came off it on a test ride  :dl_hyperhysteria:) and this last month has been the nail in the coffin.

So I've gone for something completely different - a Kawasaki W800 Street.

Don't think ill be winning any wheelie competitions on it, but the driving factors for me are: that I can get parts, I can service it or do work to it myself without taking 2 hours to get plastics off and on, I can take it to almost any garage [so many won't touch the Benelli] and reliability. I've also given up on any thoughts of long distance touring and resigned myself to the 12 mile each way commute every day, so whilst there is less protection from the elements, I can grit my teeth and bear it for 25 mins.  :rain:

Anyway! nice to be back  :thumb:

I will 😂😂

Absolutely loved my 2018 and 2006 stroms and as far as I'm aware, the 2022 is essentially the same as the 2018 so I should be fine 🫣

If not....it's tough titties 😂
