Crash Bar bags for a Glee
« on: November 02, 2024, 21:00:49 »
Anyone know of any crash bar bags for these bars? I think they're Suzuki bars. I had Heed bars on my old one and found the bags useful so wanted to get soke for these but can't find any anywhere. Aliexpress is littered with bags for the 2004-2011 Strom and 2017 onwards but for the Glee there only seems to be bags to fit Heed and Givi bars. Anyone found any for these?

I had BMW Tourotech on DL650A and they fitted perfectly. Sorry, I can't tell you which model BMW they came off. They are a grey bluish colour with Tourotech written in black. Very useful they were too. I carried a first aid kit in one and my lock in the other. I had Suzuki OEM crash bars, others may be different.

I bought a pair of bags off AliExpress for my DL1000 2014. They were very cheap and I did see what looked like exactly the same things on eBay for a lot more money. Mine are really well made, quality and dry bags.   :thumb:

Can't help you with bags unfortunately but those are Suzuki crash bars as they use the [a longer] engine bolt to mount them.

If you do find bags, let us know what you go for  :thumb:

I can't point you at a specific set of bags for those bars, but I would have thought a pair of LOMO bags would do the job.

I have HEED bars on my 650 and have had the bags on for four years now. I've drop tested them a few times and they have stood up to everything perfectly.
The older I get, the better I was.

Oh I hadn't thought of those. I was thinking more of bags that fit into the shape of the bars rather than sit on the outside. I shall take another look
