Abs brakes
« on: September 24, 2024, 07:26:49 »
Hi all
2007 abs version, with 30k on the clock.
Ride into work, the red abs light came on then went off. If I touched the front or rear brakes it went off and if the revs went to idle it went off, then it stayed off. On the way home it just stayed on.
I have done the paper clip in the diagnostic socket and jus get the c00 code.
Is it safe to ride with the clip in place to see what code might come up ?.
Many thanks
Andy

Yes you can ride the bike in dealer mode.
Was FI showing on the display? If not, you won't see a code via the dealer mode.
Have you cleaned & checked the ABS sensors & any connectors/wiring, plus checked the ABS ring is clean & not bent?
