Look up JMP fork stanchions..

I've fitted these to quite a few bikes and the quality is very good for the money.

Superglue and 1200g/2000g wet/dry is worth a go if they are just small spots of rust.Clean with acetone after removing any loose stuff carefully with a stanley blade point.Fill with Superglue (Loctite or Gorilla not the cheap stuff and not the gel, may need to build it up in goes.) leave at least overnight somewhere warm. Then 1200g (3m is best) across the fork not up and down, finish with the 2000g.

I've heard good things about this place....

No experience of their services so don't really know anything about them.

Maybe worth researching or anyone else on the forum know about them?

Depends how bad they are from what I've read.  I recently replaced my fork seals and took the opportunity to address the pitting (minor imo) whilst there.  It's mildly terrifying to take sandpaper to your pride and joy but I was very impressed by how much better they felt afterwards.  Maybe try that as a first step?

I have done the superglue thing on my old get to work Honda cb200, and it did work for the time I kept it (18 months and an MOT). It depends how bad they are. It is worth a try for what it costs, in my case Nowt...bar the new seals. But I did change the leaking seals myself. If you have to pay someone to do it for you, then the chance of it not working is more costly.
Maybe give it a go and see what happens, then make a decision about the seal replacement.

I've had a couple of mates had the stanchions rechromed by Brooks Suspension in the past & have been very happy with them.
I've had dealings buying from them & can say they seem to be a good company. Quick to reply to e-mails with answers to questions & I've had & great help on the phone too.

Not sure where you’re based, but I’ve used AM Philpot in Luton and was happy with the result.

I've used Philpotts (pitted forks) twice in the past (Kawasaki Z1r and a Suzuki GSX750) and they have been superb. Great service, good finish (slightly duller and less shiny than standard) and a perfect size - so no seal or bushing issues. I have used Brookes for suspension work and they were a little bit slow in the turnaround. Great quality work mind.
