Rode about 170 miles down to Exeter last week, just to jump on a Honda Transalp and hoon around Exmoor National Park for 130 miles!
While the Transalp is a great bike, the real test was 4.5 hours of riding home in the heavy rain on my trusty '20 DL650. The V-Strom did not miss a beat, well composed and frugal on the juice too. I am so glad I got this bike.
Home now and thinking of adding some fog lights, has anyone got recommendations. Also has anyone seen these mounts, rather than installing full engine/crash bars?
