Hi,
On my ‘22 DL1050 I’ve taken the clutch release cylinder off to remove and clean behind the front sprocket cover.
There is a rubber boot that goes over the inside of the release cylinder and this seems to be a very loose fit and fell off the cylinder as I pulled it away from its seat.
I can’t remember this happening the last time I did this job and thought I had to pull it off to clean it.
Am I right in thinking I should probably try and buy a new boot?
Also there is some dry looking white/ish grease on the part of the cylinder the push rod goes into. I think I should put a bit more in but would anyone know the specification of grease I need?
Thank you,
Mark.
