A reminder of why most of us wear boots even in really hot weather.
Would have taken not very practical for road use full motocross boots to have had no injury but just think what your foot and ankle would have looked like if you had been wearing trainers...

You've had a run of really bad luck there, starting with the KLV's theft. Hope you & bike are both fit for the good weather when (if) it arrives.

Just one more thing, look at the sign. No U-Turn allowed. I marked the accident location in red... No comment...

That is definitely a plus for you IMHO.
The other party's insurers will almost certainly scrutinise the manner in which you were filtering as for instance to speed and road markings to suggest you are at fault.
In simple terms  :handgestures-fingerscrossed: regardless of what they say you were doing their client was  doing something they shouldn't.

Third party insurance accepted full liability so the bike will be repaired without any cost for me. Also injury claim is in progress.

Glad it's all going through. Unfortunately you may be in for an unpleasant time when your own insurance is due for renewal.  The outrageous  way the insurance companies treat their customers needs looking at.

Its a non fault claim so hopefully it won't affect too much...

Currently going through the same as you.

Even though the third party have admitted liability,  your insurance company will still load your premium and will continue to do so until the claim in fully settled.

When that stookie (that what it's called up here) comes off make sure you get physio. Go private, (avoid NHS waiting lists) the other party will pay.
The pain should ease ....... I broke my ankle 20+ years ago and had a similar stookie. For now use it as an asset to get a comfy seat in the pub.

I had a non fault accident in April.

Renewal quote pre-accident was £240. Had the accident 2 weeks before renewal….. cheapest I could get for my new bike (same make/ model/ one year newer) was £453.🤦‍♂️

Third party insurance (last I was told) are declining to pay the increased premium as part of my uninsured items claim.🤷‍♂️

What can we do. Insurance in the UK is like mafia unfortunately.
The good news for me they also accepted liability for my injury claim.

Bike has been repaired yesterday, coming back to me on Saturday. Today I found out I can start walking on the leg where the ankle was fractured. Good news :)
I paid for the repair by myself (to avoid loosing whole season) and claiming the cost back from third party.
