Standard screen wellnut size
« on: January 09, 2024, 12:27:31 »
I'm about to embark on further screen related faff. I know my current setup has M5 size wellnuts but I don't think that's the norm. I think I'll need to order some standard sizes ones. Anybody know what that is please?

My L2 has M5 screws holding the screen. The 'rubber nut' that goes into the fairing is about M10 in diameter. I think you buy them by the screw size.

My Vee has M5 into a 10mm well nut and I doubt they've changed them.
If you stick the Suzuki part number into eBay then you'll get companies supplying them after market for a fraction of the price, I even found some being sold with stainless steel screws instead of plain steel ones.
