You've all got better butts that me, mine was sore in 50 mile on the 1050 I rode.

Seats are very subjective as we are all different, but I love everything about my 1050, except the seat which ranks as cruel and unusual punishment after about 30 minutes.  I have an air pad which helped comfort but lost some feel, so I'm now trying those mesh cover things. Early days but seems better.

I’ve always used a sheepskin

Very nice and comfy and gets a bit of breeze to your parts

Cheers

My first road bike was a TDM850, my mates thought I was mad. Sitty-up riding position, only two cylinders, sounds like a vee-twin but isn't and odd sized wheels.

I loved it.

It was, as you say well ahead of it's time.  :old:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Loved the original TDM, around that time I had DR750, perhaps the most uncomfortable seat ever
