Rear shock
« on: July 17, 2023, 12:15:43 »
Afternoon

I’ve had the rear shock go on my 2007 650 but it is a Hagon shock , I’m waiting on them to reply about a rebuild but in the mean time I’d like to ride , anyone got an old one laying about .
Of course I’ll pay .
Or a good suggestion of a whole new one .

Regards

Chris

I don't know but, maybe Hagon do a replacement shock, send back yours and they send a reconditioned one?

This is their site but I guess you have to log in (open an account) to find their phone number. Good luck.  :thumb:

How old is your hagon shock ..?

Hagons have a no quibble 2 year unlimited mileage warranty.

If its out of warranty, ask them to rebuild it for you

Thank you for the reply’s

I got the shock from a friend who sold his bike and we changed  the shock over , he bought it in 2016 .

Hagon did contact me and I’ve posted it today , hoping for a speedy turn around as I go away in 3 weeks !I’ve asked for a full rebuild as it’s so old .

Since buying my first storm they’ve been a pain in the bum but I have fallen in love with them .

Just an update .

I posted the shock off to Hagon , they rebuilt it , new oil , seals and oil , good clean and returned it for £207 in 9 days .
Really happy , kept me informed along the way with options , it’s back in the bike ready for a trip to Belgium .

Sorted

Is the Hagon shock a aftermarket shock for the v-strom? If it is what’s the benefit of it? Only asking because as a big bloke myself I may benefit from a better shock
