Factory exhaust noise level DL650 2009

Hello all,

can anyone tell me what the factory exhaust noise level is, as I understand some European counties are randomly checking levels against manufactures specs & as mines got an aftermarket exhaust & I don't fancy 5 years in a Swiss prison!

82db to 96db is what I read on the internet for a police check in UK.

105db is the maximum for most UK track days.  :auto-dirtbike:

If you wish to make your aftermarket cans less noisy I can recommend these. They just slide into the inlet of the can. Obviously you need to get the correct diameter.  Just fitted to one of my bikes and they are very effective.
