One of the essential mods (for me) on the Tenere 700 is a set of Barbacks. In the stock position my arms are at full stretch and that is causing me to lean forwards, which causes back and shoulder strain.

Anyhoo, I ordered SW Motech Barbacks which raise and bring the bars back 30mm, perfect!

Except, they look like I have hastily made them with a blowtorch and a file. I am sending them back but what do you think?

Surprising for SW Motech. Less than ideal. They really don't look to fit or sit right.

That is a surprise from SW Motech. The cheap ebay Chinese ones I have on my vstrom fit and look much better!

Yes they are 'kin awful looking. even I wouldn't fit them to my bike.

I have just had a look at them on the site. For my bike a 650DL 2012 it shows these. Apart from fitment, what about the price!!!!!

I found these on ebay. They look to be better made and if I wasn't convinced in the quality I would just replace the bolts for the best quality I could find. Yes, they are from China and there may be an import charge but most are probably (possibly) made in China anyway, even OEM parts.
