Do you mean E10?

It's been out for some time. Your engine was designed and built to be fine on it. It won't harm your engine. Some will claim reduced performance. Some will add stabiliser to it if leaving it for long winter layups.

Are you sure it’s coming over to you, I ask as I’m in Guernsey and we don’t have it, nor the E5 as it doesn’t travel well over seas, so unless there is refinery over on your rock? I’d be surprised if they ship it in?

The Flame.
If you're using the bike regularly then it'll be OK, but corn syrup don't burn like petrol. It's physics.....
If you're laying the bike up use SU 5% or better before parking it up and fill the tank.
I question if it's any more expensive using SU constantly as your fuel mpg will be better, but it's your choice.

I use E5 mostly as my bikes tend to stand a while between rides.
When I do put E10 in my 650 Strom it runs fine, the only thing I've noticed is it seems to read 2 or 3 mpg less on the fuel trip.

@ flame, I see you're from County Down, yes apparently E10 is only just being introduced to Northern Ireland.

Personally I am one of the few, it seems, that thinks there is no difference in E5 & E10, certainly not in a 2013 650 or in a 2017 Focus. I have done lots & lots of checks, brim to brim on both bike & car & can honestly say there has been no change in MPG on either. Although on the last two tanks in the Focus the MPG has increased, albeit by an astounding 2/3 MPG. But as far as I'm concerned, if it was the other way, it's not worth worrying about.
I will agree, however, with the suggestion of filling the tank with E5/Super if the bike will be left standing for a month or two.

I'm with Mick on this. My post from summer of a 440 mile trip, 220 miles one way using E10 and return 220 miles using E5 showed negligible difference in MPG
