Screen - how many clicks?
« on: October 08, 2022, 09:52:12 »
Hello Strom People

So, I am into Strom ownership by 1 weeks (2016, 1000cc...)

The screen angle positions, how many should there be? From it being at rest, the lowest position I can push it into 2 more positions. I've got a memory their being 3 when I rode it home  :icon_exclaim:

Maybe I'm confused though  :dl_hyperhysteria:

Please put me out of my misery

BTW - I know I can undo the bolts and there's 3 height positions to chose from

So far, I've discover the settings to be (I) windy (ii) really windy (iii) head shaky (I've) really windy and head shaky  lol

I've got a Givi AirFlow screen as well at the OEM. Have changed to mirrors to diamond shaped ones. I guess feeling in touch with the elements is all part of Stromming  :)

That is correct, the lowest position and then two more so I guess you could call it three just like the traction control has three settings even though one of them is off!  I leave mine in the middle position.  The oe screen for a 14-16 is rubbish, doesn't matter what
position you put it in, take it of and fit the givi.

I bought one of these cheapo screen extensions for my 2004 V Strom 650 and R1150GS. It transformed the ride on both bikes and did away with lots of wind noise and buffeting. I can happily ride around on both bikes with my visor up.

Cheers,

Dicky.
