The Queen
« on: September 09, 2022, 15:39:53 »
The Queen has died age 96. No need to mourn, our Queen lived a long and happy life (most of it) and achieved everything she promised us, and some. May her God bless her and if I'm wrong and there is a Heaven, she is already there.
God bless the Queen and Long live the King.

When I joined the army, I remember making an oath or allegiance to the Queen, I wonder if our serving armed forces will now formally do the same to the King?

Doc, she gave her all, we could ask no more. She even did it with a smile.
I was fortunate enough to escort Her Majesty QEll on many occasions, it was always more special when it was the monarch herself and not one of the other royals.
Even when we saw her out of the public gaze, at airport's or tucked away at the back of a building somewhere she still smiled, she always seemed content.
I will miss her, no, I am missing her.
Safe journey ma'am and I hope you travelled on a motorcycle.
Yes she did that too.

RIP Ma’am. Thank you for everything you have done for the United Kingdom.

I Too served the Queen for 23 years even went to war for her.

I have also had the great privilege of meeting her mainly on military duties. one of my fondest was while our Squadron was to receive a new colours I was always right marker due to my height being 6 ft 6ins  tall but being booted and suited in my drill boots was approaching near 7 ft I had a wonderful photo of the Queen inspecting me on parade she was really tiny and only came up to my waist looking up at me I was the only member of the Squadron with a combat ribbon she spoke to me about the Falklands war .

God bless you ma'am for all you have done for us and God speed .
