I'm in a bit of a quandary gents. Deb's proved positive for Covid today ..... do I tell her about this miracle cure and share the remaining biscuits with her, or hide them & pretend they've all gone?   :smirk:

Vaccine hoarding is the best way to guarantee personal survival. Unless Deb kills you.
Best wishes for full and quick recovery, all joking aside.

Considering there are a lot of biscuit experts on here, I notice that you’re not speaking about the unspeakable: the dark art of dunking.

I’m sure most of you are serial dunkers, and I applaud your choice of dunking ammunition as the humble hobnob is a worthy dunker, but as good as it is, I do find the ginger nut is a better tool for dunking.

Why..?

Well, considering that tea and biscuits are probably one of the major benefits towards overcoming covid, dunking with a hobnob means that when you go to take that last swig of the tea, there’s a whole heap of oaty bits at the bottom of your cup and taking that last swig of tea - plus gulping down the detritus of oaty bits - could be detrimental to your health. I mean, with covid you’re feeling pretty fragile anyway, and who needs a throat full of unexpected oaty bits…?

The humble ginger nut on the other hand doesn’t soak up and steal all your tea - which means more tea supping - plus you get less detritus at the bottom of your cup.

Seriously. The ginger nut is the bees knees for any expert tea drinkers.
Never let your karma run over your dogma...

Dunking should be illegal. Dipping your food in your drink is just plain wrong.

The wife has still been testing positive everyday since Monday, well last night she had a Picnic bar and this morning she got a very very faint positive line.

Just wondered if this was also a covid cure ?

:icon_exclaim:! Dunking biscuits is as disgusting as putting Tomato sauce on Popcorn, chocolate sauce on Pizza, Tomato sauce on rice or dipping chips (fries?) into milk shake.

Look, apart from Rich Tea and maybe Mcvities Digestives the Brits are not brought up to dunk.

I am appalled by the French who habitually shove croissants and cake into a tiny cup of coffee at every opportunity! I've asked why and the answer is the same, "I've always done it".
So how's it going so far then?

The only ginger biscuits I like are called “Ginger Parkins”,they are about 4” in diameter and you would never dunk them in a normal cup without breaking them in half.Beware if you have false teeth as they are REALLY crunchy.1 biscuit is all you need as a snack.

Then, before anyone else says Ianmc, you really take the biscuit!

And kwackboy, would you dunk your fried egg or sausage (?) in your morning cuppa?   lol

The English were probably too busy dunking in 1066, when the French definitely didn't give up.
