A cure for Covid!
« on: March 22, 2022, 13:41:09 »
I have been an absolute saint when it comes to following the Covid guidelines. We rarely see people here during the winter and I have worn a mask whenever I have ventured out, I have been washing my hands more than ever. I am triple jabbed.

So, what a kick in the balls when I returned from a day trip visiting my brother in that there England with bloody Covid. We went bowling and then (a first in a very long time for me) went into a Pub to watch the Rugby.

It took three days to make me unwell, that was a week ago and I have been pretty rough since. Yesterday it floored me and I didn't get out of bed until 4pm.

Anyway, all of that fades into insignificance when I tell you what fixed me. Last night whilst staring at the walls (having slept all day) I got stuck into a packet of chocolate Hobnobs, this morning, negative test result.

So, in summary, chocolate Hobnobs cure Covid  :thumb:

My medical training and qualifications are fairly limited but I would be comfortable recommending half a pack a day.

Hi

I can also recommend dipping said biscuit choice, into a tipple of your choice, mine happens to be dark rum, but to each their own!

Does mixing variants of the medicine increase or decrease the effectiveness? I'm thinking it's safer to have the full dose of each, just to be safe...

Some joker has written "hob" on your name badge Rusty.

I don't believe anyone with a Silver Frame has had Covid yet?

I too caught a dose sometime over the last few days! I was in a pub on Thursday & a couple of cafes on Sunday.
On the ride with Josh on Sunday I started with a bit of a cough that got worse as the day went on. I tested Sunday evening to get a negative result. Yesterday I felt quite shit so tested again last night and got a positive result.
I don't have any Hobnobs in the house but I do have these. (NHS...not private ) It'll be tough but I'll try eating a packet of these over the next few days hoping they'll do the trick. I'll report back.

I'll take my chances with the virus. Those biscuits were a quid yesterday afternoon. Same biscuits, same shelf, same shop - £1.60 this morning.
