a DL650 would have been a more sensible buy for my use , but I'm not getting younger so why not ;)

Had my heart set on a black/white but the black/grey looks great in the flesh in my opinion

Cheers Steve

Just bought one the same a few weeks back and loving it. Did a 400 mile day on it yesterday through a thunderstorm, sunshine and mist and the bike was brilliant.

Have fun with your new bike

Great machines and massively under rated. Enjoy!

I has a spare couple of hours whilst in Carlisle the other day and took a Honda Africa Twin out for a test ride as I had heard such great things and it was only £10 for 45mins.
It felt light and easy to ride but to be honest it was just OK , nothing special, loads of stuff on the touch screen which I wasn't interested in, suspension was good and it was fine but not something I would want particularly.
I would love to have a go on the new 1050 but no dealers anywhere near me.
