Vstrom DL250 oil change

Hi everyone  :)

Just a quick question  :grin:. Vstrom DL250 oil change, what is the best oil that I can use.   10W40, but Fully synthetic, semi or mineral?  and any particular suggestions in oil manufacturers.  I don't mind spending a bit more on an oil change so the question is which one performs/is best for the engine?  Thanks for the help

Any reputable 10w40 semi will be fine.  :thumb:

OK :) thanks will keep that in mind. Honestly, I was actually tempted to try a fully synthetic (Liqui molly) as I have a brand new one already in my garage. I was doubtful if it is suitable or compatible with my engine. I don't want to cause damage to the clutch or anything

I suppose I should point out that it should be a bike-specific oil (suitable for wet clutches), not a car oil...... (puts head back below the parapet  :roll:)
