Vstrom 2018 - Decat, Servo eliminator, PCFC etc
« on: March 23, 2021, 11:33:47 »
Hi all,

Looking to go down the decat, PCFC, custom map route and just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction. Looking through previous forum posts I have gathered some information and just wanted to clarify that I am heading in the right direction!

Equipment required:

Decat pipe (delkevic or arrow)
Servo eliminator
O2 sensor
Power commander FC
Custom map creating on Dyno

Any advice/recommendations/information regarding the process would be most welcome, best quality components to go for etc.

Thanks in advance!

Found some more info on another thread, looks like the healtech servo eliminator is the one to go for and seems that o2 sensors will be sorted as part of a PCFC fit and Dyno tune. Will give my local centre a call and see what they suggest.

Time to spend some money!

I have done the following: Arrow decat line with Gianelli muffler. Servo eliminator. Booster plug instead of Power Commander, cheaper and easier to use. It works for me.

Thanks for the reply, I have now got mine booked in for a tune at the local shop, just got to fit my decat pipe and carbon 450mm can from Delkevic which arrived yesterday.

Will post results when I get them.

Just finished installing the decat and silencer this evening, here are a few photos for anyone interested. Straight forward fit and I am very pleased with the silencer fitment, it hugs the bike very nicely.
