Never liked the Bridgestones Have always used Tourance Even had the Bridgestones taken off my K6 when I bought it new. Just not enough feel or confidence in the wet with the Bridgestones

I find the A40's one of the best for the 650 (I've had three sets so far, came as standard on the latest one) for my style of riding, such as it is.

Mine came with them too. I've had no problems grip wise with them but I find them a little harsh. Anyway I bought another set to put by as M&P were/are also selling them cheap.

Had the A40s for ages but now on A41s..... They feel so much better.... Less vibration on the road and great in the snow as I found out last Sunday when we had a snow dump in London when I was out.

I use A40's on my DL1000. I used to use them on my 650 too. Fantastic tyres, very grippy even in the wet. I purchased a set of these just before xmas from M&P for 99 quid delivered. Bargain.

Never liked the A40, they would get the ABS attention in the dry, in a straight line. Go with A41 if you need a dual sport, lot grippier.

The A40 and A41 are the same exact compound.
They changed the tread profile to differentiate the two models.
They also do the 41 in a wider ranged of sizes.

I did forget to say I have a pair of the A40's from M&P's in the garage.
Bought them back in Nov but at this rate they'll still be waiting to go on this time next year.
Haven't been on any of the bikes since 15th Dec.
Well I did 2 laps of the garage compound after changing the choke cable on the XJ600, but that doesn't really count.
