Radiator guards

Hi, can any one confirm how either of these guard's attach to the radiator.
I don't want to buy one & find out there held on with cable ties only .
Looking at  Givi or 3105 or R&G racing  !.

Mine's a Cymarc (on my 650). It has a bolt fixing at the bottom, cable ties at the top. I believe the thou' is similar.

On looking at the products you mention on ebay they appear to have a bolt lug to fix next either to the front cylinder rocker cover or radiator(?).

It would be helpful if someone can confirm.

I to have a  Cymarc (on my 650). It is fixed with a bolt and cable ties. Done a few thousand miles now and it's as sound as when fitted. Don't let cable ties put you off, no matter what brand you buy.

Cymarc here too. Bolt at the bottom two cable ties at the top, been on seven years and never moved!

Hi,
I have one of these fitted  "Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom Yr 2014-19 Radiator Cover Grille Logo Black"  off eBay.
Bolts top and bottom, using original radiator mounts. Its bit of a fiddle to fit but worth it I think.

Here's the fixing on mine. You can see one cable tie at the top, there are two but the guard is spaced off the radiator to avoid any vibration rubbing it against the radiator.

I have the R&G guard which bolts and cable ties. Fitted it for my RTW trip and it was great. What I liked about it, is it looks is unobtrusive, looks lie a factory fit item and did its job well.

Still undecided which guard to go for !.
Has any one fitted the Givi PR3105 if so has it got two fitting at the top that bolt on to the existing rad mounts & cable ties at the bottom.
Some of the guards seem to have Very long top mounting arms that must fit to existing fitting higher up on the frame this is what I don't want.
Givis web site doesn't give any fitting instructions for the guards.

Just checking the threads and saw this, so thought I'd post my solution for the 1050XT. It's all cable tied, but I cut and shaped it to fit around the existing bolts. Aluminium sheet from your local DIY store, two undercoats and three top coats, rock solid, job done!!!
