Me again. Right, Dl 1050 headlight adjustments. Just rode home tonight, literally in the dark even on full beam. How when where?

I don't have a 1050, but from a search on the net, "It is a single bolt under the back end of the beak in the middle. There is a bit of a cutout in the "underbeak" where it is. The head size is 10 mm." quoted from #6 of https://www.stromtrooper.com/threads/on-the-road-how-do-I-adjust-the-headlight.432570/

I had the same issue.
Undo the nut (? 10 mm)  under the beak then manually adjust the headlamp. Tighten the nut after. Easy.
