m o t
« on: October 07, 2020, 18:56:14 »
took my 650 for it's first mot today. tester discovered a big problem. the bike doesn't exist according to the tester's computer link with dvla. he tried several times rechecking the numbers each time. rebooked for next week and I have to take the reg documents with me. I have just recieved the licence renewal so they are quite happy to take my money for a non existant bike.  :angry-banghead:

A non existent vehicle needing an MOT can still be tested as long as the Vin and Reg number are present, it doesn't matter if he can't find the vehicle either as the tester has a function to create a vehicle record just for this purpose.

He doesn't need your documents to do this, he's just being over cautious .
