Help wanted with engine bars
« on: September 22, 2020, 22:00:01 »
Hi everyone. Which crash bars and sump guard is best for 19 Reg 650. I like T Rex. Any experience?

Think you Need Heed :)
I'd go with the Suzuki plastic sump guard if it's available for that model unless you are going to do serious off roading.

Fitted them on mine.  Easy fit, robust and no wind noise.

Thank you very much everyone. Great response to my first post. Great forum. Still trying to get some feedback on the T-Rex bars though I know they're expensive. I do intend to do a lot of bad roads.

Suzuki's own bars on mine. They are perfect.

Check the above topic before deciding. If they bolt on as shown in the first post you could have problems if you drop it. PM me for details

:text-goodpost:   That"s a point I missed when you posted your 'leaking engine bar' thread the first time roganjoshing. They are Suzuki bars (I believe) and fit to the main engine support bolts. Heed bars for mine fit to the engine fixing bracket and into the frame only.

A point worthy of note when choosing for yours Paulghost..........
So how's it going so far then?
