80 quid centre stand..
« on: September 04, 2020, 19:54:51 »
Anyone tried the MPW centre stand that's on eBay for £80? Seems OK but wondered if anyone had taken the plunge yet?

Very true, but expensive does not always guarantee quality either. Will probably get a Cosmo one but just interested if anyone had tried the eBay one, it could be excellent!

Tiff, could you post up the link please. I can't find it at £80 from France.

I have an SW Motech on mine (AL5). No hassles fitting or hindrance but it has degraded on the centre bar with road erosion. 150€ from local bike shop so not in the same price bracket.
So how's it going so far then?

Just had a look at the link you sent they have a awful lot of feedback over 139,000 with some negative but you pay your money and take your choice.
It looks and sounds OK and reads good ?

If you do go for one maybe you will put Up a review of your findings ?

Imagine jumping through hoops trying to get a refund from e-bay, if things go south. Buying from Cosmo, is a better option I would think.

Gert, I've had to do that, ony once, no problem.  :icon_wink:

If you have a link direct to the seller then it has to be more reassuring though.  :thumb:

If I'd have to critcise the product it would have to be the welding....not pretty. Then again it's hidden away under the bike.
So how's it going so far then?
