Good work, it's not bad gear either, but you do have to be quick !

I see they're not doing the crash helmets this year.... not that I would buy one anyway. A lid with 'B Square' stamped on it has to be the naffest thing going.

What about a 'Tesco Value' helmet?
DL650 Wee, MRA Vario tall screen, Oxford Hotgrips, Cymarc frame protectors, DL1000 seat (for that extra inch), Scottoiler, Cut Peashooter, mudguard Extenda, GPS mount made from idiot strip.

You're not missing anything by not having the intercom, they were pretty crap.
The rest of the Lidl stuff is reasonable quality

Remember folks that Aldi usually do bike stuff one or two weeks after Lidl. Sometimes it's better.

Was down at my local one eairlier and they did have the coms sets but they were not with the other things
for me I thought the tank bags, the bike covers and the waterproof suits were of very good value although I didn't need any. oh and for what its worth bought the coms set last year and at low speeds were useful but it is what it is and that's why I bought a autocom setup.

I've just seen the overmits and overshoes - they are awful.

The gloves are bigger than any human would ever fit - even over the biggest gloves

The "overshoes are crap - they are open at the back and the ankle strap is too short to go round a boot.

Very disappointing. I feel embarrassed at having told you folks about them. I have written and told them so.

I called in Lidl today and didn't rate any of the bike stuff. The tankbag is nowhere near as good as the old B Square one they used to do. The jacket seemed really flimsy and poor quality, as were the gloves that looked like they would'nt be any good in an off and offer little protection, and you could just tell the lining will give up the ghost in a short time. The bike cover was just cheap rubbish.
The Lidl textile jacket, trousers and gloves used to be good stuff, as was their tankbags, but it seems Lidl have found a cheaper supplier to give themselves more profit.
Sorry Lidl.... but I'll stick to Oxford soft luggage and Hein Gericke textile clothing thanks. I'm all for cheap, but not when its crap.

You don't go to lidl for bike gear, you go for the wine. get enough cartons of cavaneta, stuff them down your leathers and if you crash u just bounce. If u don't crash u go home and get pissed..
