Would be interesting to know percentage of world wide ownership who change mirrors to see if I am indeed one of the lucky ones or others possibly unlucky......as for buffeting and turbulence I have enough motorcycle miles under my belt have experienced that......... :)
As said, I agree....we all sort these things in our own way....

Quite right Joe. Like I said, I don't know why I don't like them as I've never tried one.
I may, or may not try one in 3/4 years when this one has had it's day.

I guess one size of bike / settings will never suit all, as we are all different shapes and sizes...(obviously nothing to do with cake, beer etc...)

Yet you bought the Airflow screen before your bike was delivered? Surely a couple of choruses of Child in Time would have been more effective, and cheaper?

Fitted a Givi Airflow on Sunday which I bought from a fellow member, boy what a change, even with stock mirrors on, the wind was a lot less buffeting. The only down side was the top of the screen was in my eyeline, however because you can change it I sorted it very quickly. Then I had to ride on the M6 for a bit so I raised it to its max just to see what it would be like. Great to start then the rain,  :dl_soapbox: its a bit scary as I could not see very well due to all the spray. Will not be doing that again.

Yes I did buy the airflow screen before bike purchase........the reason being that I always ( well over 90% ) of the time carry my wife on pillion.....the airflow allows me to tailor the screen more for my pillion.....   ( oh yes it does ! )......can I now direct you to a song by Dave Lee Roth......EXPERIENCE...... lol lol

Just get your wife to sing, then the wind won't bother her.

I remember the 1300 Pan European had small wind deflectors which stuck on to the tops of its mirrors.....could something along these lines help   .....it just seems a shame to loose the stock mirrors , their rear vision is superb.....
