Help DL650 2020 tank plastics removal
« on: June 18, 2020, 11:02:36 »
Hello blokes I'm trying to fit a scottoiler vacuum T and need to remove all the Tank plastics so I can lift the tank up. I've popped out the top fasteners and unscrewed the two fasteners under the front plus side a bolt . The top section is now lose but can't slide it off the lugs holding from the underside. Obviously don't want to snap them off, what's the knack have I missed a fastener ?

The 2012/16 model has Velcro under the panel as well. It does need a good push/pull to release it. But wait for someone to confirm it's the same on the later model....just in case!!!!! :thumb:

When I balanced the throttle bodies on my K9,I reached the vacuum pipes from between the V.Only raised the tank a little to access the balance screw.Unless the later model is different?

Just had a look where the dealer plumbed mine in when it was fitted as part of the deal. On the off (right hand) side looking through the triangle formed by the frame (forgive the untechnical description) you can see a clear vacuum pipe. They put the T connector in there. Hope this helps.
