All back together and running happily apart from the ba$t4rd FI light, coupled with the fact that I can't get the speedo back to MPH. It goes through the reset but flips back the KPH as soon as the FI error flashes up
I tried an Italian tune-up to see if I could clear it, but the little beggar is determined to stay on.
So before I get to removing the tupperware and looking for my mistake, does any kind soul know ...
a) Is there anything under the tank that I might have not connected, even if the bike runs and everything is working (even the heated grips!)
b) The bike is almost out of fuel - can this impact the FI light considering I've had it to bits?
c) The dash and battery were both completely disconnected
d) The bike has been turned on & off several times with the dash disconnected
Reading the forum there is mention of a 15-minute battery disconnect reset, which I'll try while hoping for pearls of wisdom
