Thanks Paul,

I just went out and managed to unclip the terminals as per your diagram. The other end though has no place to slot a small screwdriver in to release the crimped wires from the plug, so I can swap them over. Can post up a pick to illustrate if required?

No worries, hopefully these pics will show you. You are pressing down the arrowed tab to flatten it out. As I said previously, you must lift the tab back up again before you reinsert it into the housing.

Thanks Paul,

Really appreciate your help. They were a sod to get out but I managed it. Just tried it all out and Hello presto  :happydance: brake lights and aux light working as they should.........

Then I tried to start my bike up, and no go - just a clicking from the rear of the bike, which I assume is the sound of relay to the starter motor. The ignition sequence, lights, fuel pump all working as it should when the ignition switch is switched on??

I’ve had the bike on trickle charge all winter, so shouldn’t be the battery - but just plugged it in again overnight to rule this out.

I’ll check the fuses tomorrow as well...any thoughts?

Glad you got the fuse box sorted. As for the non start, just check that you have tightened up the battery terminals. A loose cable will cause that.

So just went out took the charger off, (still not showing full health). And the bike started first time. The battery must have went flat by switching it on the ignition through the afternoon and evening yesterday.  Phhheeeeeww, though I might have buggered something up.

I too would like to thank TallPaul, FatRat, FatRat's agent, FatRat's family and also Jebus. Must have had a brain fart, I usually double check they are the correct way round when making then again when they're getting stuffed in to the jiffy.

I told you this would happen bigpie, outsourcing to Switzerland was always a risky move.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Can he nip round next door to my boss's bunker and ask him when he's going to follow Government regulations and give us a safe working environment?

I popped round earlier and had a chat with your boss Rusty. I did indeed raise the rather popular topic of ppe for his key workers.

He told me that you all walk around all day in the fresh air in your  Royal Mail issued shorts, red shirts and that should be plenty.

He also recounted a rather far fetched story about one of his employees who encourages cats into his van, into the mail bags and even films them.

I didn't believe a word I can tell you.

I've been making free face visors for NHS staff and care homes. You're welcome to have one rusty, if it'll help.

I've been knocking them out like a home alone teenager, visors that is.
