Usual suspects to check as first step are clutch lever switch and sidestand switch.

Could also be TPS which is far harder to check.

Also could be wiring for the injectors... the crimp connection where the positive feed splits to go to each injector is known to corrode and fail.
Sometimes leaving you on one cylinder, sometimes none.

Also could be coils, does it happen when cold or more when warm.

Gary, when you say loss of power, do you mean cutting out while on the move? Sounds too simple, , but might be worth double-checking the battery terminals are tight.

From the symptoms you describe , the first thing I would look at is the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) .

Gassoon it’s definitely not the battery as tightened up on my first stop it’s like when you put your foot down on the excelaerator when driving then slows down loses revs and all of a sudden it picks up

Those instructions are how to adjust the TPS.
You would also use them when replacing a faulty TPS with a replacement.

You need to unplug the TPS from the loom and remove it from the throttle bodies, you will see 3 pins, you need a multi meter set to ohms so you can see what reading it gives you between the two outer pins from memory, it's been some time since I last tested one...

I don't have one to hand but It looks like you have a manual,  it should give you the correct readings and how to test it

Inside a TPS is a ceramic disc that moves when you turn your throttle, these can sometimes crack and wear out sending false readings to your ECU . This can result in bad idling and random running issues.

Turns out I was a little wrong, it's not the two outer pins and you can test it while on the throttle bodies which is a little difficult in my opinion but you can give it a try.
I found a manual because had some doubts about my last post.
Like I said, it's been a while ....  :shy:.

See pic.

Your symptoms sound the same as my 2014 DL1000 had recently. After reading up on it I was fairly certain it was a blockage in the small filter on the fuel pump, so I decided to start there. It wasn’t hard to replace the filter and there are you tube videos showing how it is done. Removing the plastics and tank took longer than changing the filter. My filter was very dirty. I have only had the bike out for one decent ride since replacing the filter, however it was back to it’s nicely running old self again.

Old and new filters.

My understanding is that the - mark should move to the upper mark just above idle speed, 2k I think. With yours still being in the middle mark above 2k I suspect it's goosed. If it was adjustment it would be in the lower position of the 3 at idle. Search the part number on the TPS, the same one will fit several other bikes other than Suzuki and possibly cheaper.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Make sure you are doing it with a warm engine. A cold engine will be all over the place.

And if you do decide to adjust it. Be careful, very small movements, make a huge difference.

Anywhere from 2,200 to 3,000 will be in range.
I eventually got mine to 2,400 and gave up getting any closer to 2,200.
