Wartime dispatch rider training video .
« on: January 12, 2020, 16:28:13 »
I found this little gem on YouTube, thought I'd share it .
This was my grandad's role, a dispatch Rider during WW II  and Seems surreal as I was a dispatch rider for many years.
No risk of me been shot off my bike though unlike my grandad...  :)

Enjoy...

'Complicated electrical systems' - what? There must be all of 10 wires...

With hindsight, the most effective way the allies could have stopped the German riders getting to their destinations was to have opened a Starbucks along the route...

I enjoyed that Kwackboy, I spotted it earlier in the week.

Youtube has a brilliant selection, put "Look at Life" into your smart TV youtube app and you will be entertained for hours.

Interesting video that I can relate to.I once briefly met Pat Moss as she was a friend of my boss’ daughter, who herself rallied an Austin Mini-Minor.Wierdly enough, this car was the first I drove on the road after I passed my driving test.I was walking back to work after the test and she picked me up and asked if I had passed or not. When I said yes she moved over and said get in,you can drive back to the garage.Strange the things you can remember from almost 60years ago.but last week,no idea !

It is a service I normally charge for. I'm happy to arrange a direct debit.

By the way, I bet you've also "forgotten" the £10,000 you borrowed from me. :)
