Of course I didn't leave it until tomorrow  :fix: I found out why no fuel was getting through, the fuel pump is seized. So, in goes a new one, back in the tank, back on the bike and...... It primes  :happydance: (I thought that the priming was quiet on the other one)  :shy:

I just need to wait for the battery to charge to see if the bike fires. I managed to flatten the battery with the constant on and off whilst working out the ignition wiring.

For the first time in nine years, I am very happy to post the following (excuse the camera work, I think the excitement got the better of me).

It took you long enough.

Just sayin'.... :)

For the first time in nine years, I am very happy to post the following.....

Oh that is wonderful!

It is lovely to hear that motorcycle. I was worried that maybe the engine and gearbox would be all seized up or something, that would be the end of the bike.

It sounds really good, as if it had last been started up yesterday rather than some years ago.

Thank you Mr Rat for the text you sent me to tell me that you had started it. That was a welcome text indeed.

I have had no time at all this week  :bawl: but when my new MPH inlay arrived I couldn't help myself  :smirk:

The Odo still records Km, that can't be changed as far as I know on the 03/04 model but now we have MPH (and I like the white)  :fix:

In case you are wondering, the teaspoons are for removing the needles (clever).
