Now that the winter is upon us maybe the cold will finish off our eight legged friends?

I wonder if the man cave the V-Strom is being kept in is heated? If so maybe turning off that heating will end the spiders?

The amount of insecticide that I have recklessly A-bombed in that Man Cave, has probably wiped out Spiders in a two mile radius.

Right, it is officially winter and CJ was always going to be a winter project. I have started to get the man Cave ready. However, slight distraction. I have just bought a 57 plate DL1000 that just needs a little TLC first

It has been standing for two years, first job, strip the seized Calipers and rebuild

The stickers were used for their primary purpose, to cover scratches

A little bit more on the deviation.. The front brakes were partially seized on (that made it interesting getting in and out of the van). Because it has been standing outside for two years, I ordered new Caliper Pistons and Seals without even looking at them. The previous owner has supplied a brand new set of OE Discs so along with new Pads, the front brakes will be as new.

I intend to get her running, serviced, MOT'd and then put her up for sale. She has a healthy 55k miles on her and is the GT version so if anyone is looking for a proper DL1000, without the hint of a silly beak, then keep watching this space

I had to take the front wheel off to replace the tyre valve which had perished. That motivated me to fit the OE Rotors and then rebuild the Calipers.
