Not much to report, work is still stopping play and this weekend the Campsite is busy.

But....I did take delivery of a replacement front Mudguard and rear Master Cylinder  :fix: Oh, and a Swingarm tool. Another bloody spider tried to attack me today  :icon_batterup:

years ago I was in the habit of getting hold of them and putting them out of the window that is until one started cutting through my skin turning it septic, they just get flattened now.

Dragonlady used to carefully gather them up, being extra careful not to harm them. Then she would throw them out of the upstairs window

I managed to get an hour in the Man Cave this afternoon, so I started stripping the rear end in readiness to take the Swingarm and Suspension linkages apart.

I don't want to give the impression that I am a big scaredy pants but..... Each time I go back to the bike it is covered in cobwebs, I am sure I will come face to face with the big daddy of the spider world at some stage through this project. When I took the rear mudguard off, I thought this was it (it wasn't)

A thorough clean and then I took an air line to it (I then had to sweep the Man Cave). The Silencers have their own garden going on.

Osama was in there just before he was captured. The spiders forced him out.

Gosh! There are a lot of things living in that motorcycle.

It sat in my back garden for years and a big bush had grown up beside it. When I decided to move it, first I had to cut the bush way back. Some of the branches were growing through the bike. I was very careful with my secateurs so as not to scratch it though.

OK, let's get this show back on the road. I wanted the sub frame off so it can be blasted and powder coated. Also, I wanted to flush out any Spider eggs (there were quite a few).

It also makes it easier to get to everything I need to.  :fix:

That's quite a lot of crap on the swing arm for 18k.
Just cleaned mine 20k since the last strip down of the swingarm and it wasn't as dirty as that.
And you know that I have a phobia of cleaning my bikes.

I think it is fair to say that CJ wasn't a fan of cleaning his bike.

I've seen the bike in person, but now that I've switch on the PC and had a look at those pics on the big screen... it gets worse.

Never mind, you'll have it all done by the end of August in order flog it to one of us at the Meet.
