My good wife and I rented the latest 650 VStrom for a weeks holiday. So good two up have decided we need to make room for one in the garage. Our three year old Triumph Street Twin with 5,850 miles will be the sacrifice. Miles will go up a tad as I'm taking it to a few Suzuki dealers with a view to part exchange for the VStrom I will buy.

Its the popular metallic red which was a £200 extra when new - and still is. Bought it at six months old in 2016 with just under 500 on the clock. A long, long wait for new at the time as Triumph misjudged demand and dealers were selling them to the highest bidders. It's had Triumph's safety recall work done (fuel leak bit like a Vstrom) and I have religiously changed oil and filter etc. and done my own servicing when due. Its perfect for the miles its done and never missed a beat. Ten months MOT.

100% Standard bike, no daft modifications. Clean, straight and reliable. As good as any other you will find.

Extras - Comes with a genuine Triumph rear carrier. Hagon rear shocks fitted with both preload and damping adjustment (were £200 plus when new) and its Triumph original shocks which I removed at 500 miles. It comes with an unused pair of stock cans I picked up on eBay just in case of cosmetic marks to the originals during our ownership. Loads of owners change the cans when new but there is no performance gain and the originals sound fantastic so little point.

I'm asking £5,600 with the extras listed. £5,300 without the extras. Dealerships asking at least £500 more for the same bike.

PM me or ring 0777 077 2456 with any questions. Bike is here in West Yorkshire to view or I'm happy to bring and show within Yorkshire (on any dry day) without commitment. I might regret that. I can also deliver same area free of charge.

These 900 twins are a great first big bike or perfect entertainment for the older experienced like me. We have enjoyed it so much. They have far outsold all the other new Bonnevilles added together. Low seat, low weight and low centre of gravity with very lite controls makes them so easy, safe and laid back to ride. Open them up they are taught and torquey in the bends. So many options from Triumph and now from after market manufactures to personalise them.
