Problem opening passenger pegs
« on: May 30, 2019, 13:41:57 »
Hello. Is there any particular method to open them?? They were never used by me and when I try to retract them they won't budge. They move a littlebit and that's it.

I removed them and there is metal ball and spring there, all rusty.

Please advise 😂

WD40. Open, close a few times. Clean. Grease.

Then get a girlfriend, encourage her to ride pillion; they help to keep your parts moving   :thumb:

Ball and spring need replacing or cleaning up, also the holes they are in, pack with grease and you should be good after cleaning the pins too.
