They missed a trick, could've had a beak on the sidecar, too

That looks very smart but not for me the only time I have ridden an outfit was on a friends in a pub car park and I nearly went through the hedge at the end of the car park, I guess you get used to it and not leaning which of course I was trying to do :-)))

Shame the side car isn't more modern looking and in keeping with the VStrom's style.  That vintage style looks a little at odds with it.

Looks like a good combination

I really like that, wouldn't want it myself but it does look fun and probably rides really well  :)

The Watsonian International chair would possibly be more in character, but less practical. I'd want a leading link setup to replace the 650's forks too, I think.

Ah so that's where that photo came from, posted in another forum, if so thanks mate, it's much better than my photo, guess most of you know what I'm talking about!?

Watsonian Squire aren't to far away from me here in the glorious Cotswolds, but they can be a bit hard to find on that industrial site, right round the back on perimeter road, near a mate who does bike Mots.
The blokes there were always very helpful, I used to go over to pick up India Enfield spares when they were the importers.

I had 16" rims on my BSA outfit so to my mind the Strom's front wheel is far too tall and the forks too long  and the gearing too high for anything but gentle riding. But it might work well and whatever floats your boat is OK. of course as the internal combustion engine becomes as environmentally unacceptable as smoking the sidecar can carry the battery pack needed for a journey over 50 miles.  That said, as my decrepitude advances, I will consider an outfit or a trike the latter being the more likely.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

back in the late 80's - my younger brother used to ride an RD400 with one of those sidewinder things. Basically a third wheel (sidecar) that made the bike a three wheeler so he could ride a 400 legally. - Bloody dangerous thing - banned now of course.

Sorry - I mean the legal loophole that allowed you to ride high capacity bike on a provisional provided it was a sidecar/threewheeler.  Not the attachment itself.
If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.
