That is a very nice 'proper' V-Strom with low mileage. The only consideration might be the difference in cost for the later model Glee. Personally I prefer the original shape but if you were worried about resale value you might want to compare with a 2012>

IF .... it is a genuine 2007 bike and not a previous version that has sat in the dealers for a year or two ....
IF .... the bike has been looked after and serviced as required it will run for another thirty to fifty thousand miles.
IF .... the tyres and battery are fairly recent
And ... you want a long term bike to ride rather than something to sell next year then what else is out there. It's not a terrible deal but I'd be looking at closer to £2850 to £3250.
What did it cost when it was new??

Looks nice, but too much money, particularly if it is a private deal.

This is just a dilemma because at this price I found the year 2012 with similar mileage , 1 owner but form dealers and this one looks very well maintained and the seller also states.
Is there any difference in the use of this newer model ?

Better boxes and better value.

Agree with Martin, too many out there and the minute you put some mileage on this it will depreciate more than a newer one, due to it's age.
I wouldn't pay anymore than £2600 for it.
Also the Glee has a few more BHP which I found noticeable.

I think the Wee is around £800-£1000 over priced , although it's in great condition.

Paid £1800 for my K7 3 years ago, in good condition.(it was a bit of a steal).

If I was paying that I'd want the newer model.

The basic bike would have been around £6500 in 2007 new. 12 years later the asking (just asking) price is half that.........?  OK, it's in good nick, low mileage and has some good extras but as others have said it's becoming an old model now, hasn't been made for nearly a decade. As worthy as the bike is I'd give low £2K for it and run it for ever.......or go for the 2012+ bike with more sell-on potential.

Certainly way too high a price at £3400.  :shy:
So how's it going so far then?

Dreamers on eBay .. although it's a nice example that's still too much , it's not even a GT version.
My Vee was in just as good condition, loads of upgrades although higher mileage and I struggled to get £2800 .

The answer to this is in the question. Is it 'worth'.....?

The worth is in the mind of the purchaser....Is it what I'm looking for? Does it tick all the boxes/have all I want on it? Do I think it's worth me parting with my money? If the answer to all three questions is yes then I'd make an offer sufficiently on the low side of what I'd be happy to pay then, logically, you end up somewhere between yours and his starting points.

I think we often like what we see and are very tempted but there are similar on offer at lower prices so have a really good look around.
So how's it going so far then?
